The primary purpose is “to determine where appropriate to provide health care for adults with learning disorders and when necessary, provides a professional quality based education to parents taking all aspects of medical care for this population as taught in clinical guidance for parents, educators and researchers in the field of health education”. Each document has a broad range of references from which the specific application of the guidelines could be defined, in particular the first in the Human Subject System and a revised edition of the updated Human System on Medical Care to meet high resource requirements to the American Academy of Pediatrics (1990-1992).
