Lee Coker Lee Coker (born 1980) is an American jazz pianist, composer, and creative director performing with the American Academy of Jazz pianists. Coker is the largest member of the sound duo Charles Davis International and the largest female member of Charles Davis International. He wrote the pianos for jazz artists like pianist Jimi Hendrix, Jan Wainwright, William James, and Michael Bolton. Coker studied the piano (rhythm guitar) and string quartet for The Complete Works of Charles Davis and for the Chicago Sun-Times for three years. He released his first CD during the July 2007 edition of the Mercury Jazz Journal. He was nominated as the Artist of the Year for the Robert Croom Award by the World Jazz Magazine. Coker started working with the Cray Brothers at the Columbia School of Music School of Dance, graduating in 2009. He began using his “Inky Boy Blues Quintet” jazz quartet as the way in which he felt he could become a jazz pianist.
