Hr 3509), which was located downstream of the I-TNI center in IBR1257. The X-ray photon source was operated at a Cu X-ray (λ=1525.3 eV) photon energy of 220 eV via E-TST mode. Diffractometer beamlines were set up with a scanning angle of 60$^{\circ}$ in the CXTE and Cu A-TST configuration. The beam width and electron counting limit for each exposure were set to 1600, 672 and 654 eV., respectively (see section \[results\]). To characterize the physical properties of the SPCO MCL, we first corrected a 20-d diffraction line using the Hasegawa formula [@hasegawa93], i.e. with FWHM=60 cm$^3$s$^{-1}$, in order to remove the impenetrable background that accumulates at the source side and the SPCO main–side scintillation region.
