Jim Southern Bruce James Southern (born December 5, 1964) is an American author of science fiction and fantasy. He specializes in non-fiction and science fiction as an undergraduate for a career teaching and exploring the science and fantasy field in a department of The University of Miami. He has received no awards for his work. He is survived by his family and a few friends. Biography Southern was raised in a Catholic home by a father and mother whose education included working as a teacher and, eventually, as a journalist as a child. He moved into Florida in the mid-1990s to take a job as a science fiction comics writer. He married Pamela Brown in 2002 and graduated from University of Miami as an assistant editor.
